This model is a decocker version of the basic CZ 75 B model. The decocking lever mounted on the left side allows the hammer to be easily lowered on a loaded chamber for a safe, ‘hammer down’ carry.
CZ 75 B is used by more Governments, Militaries, Police and
Security agencies than any other pistol in the world. The CZ 75 is quite
possibly the perfect pistol.
Designed in 1975, the CZ 75 is the flagship model of the CZ handgun line with over one million produced. An entire family of pistols is available based on the basic CZ 75 design: compacts, decockers, single action only, ambidextrous, alloy frames as well as competition pistols.

A:The CZ 75 is the older version of the gun and all current production models would be the "B" series a.k.a CZ 75B. The difference between CZ 75B and CZ 75BD is that the B has a manual safety while the BD model has a decocker instead. The main difference this creates is how one would carry and operate it safely. A B model with manual safety would be carried with the hammer cocked and safety on, and upon drawing it one would have to switch the safety off but the trigger pull would be short and light. A BD model with a decocker would be decocked after racking the slide and carried with the hammer down. Then upon drawing the gun there is no safety lever to mess with, however the trigger pull is long and heavy for the first round, then light for all remaining rounds.See 1 more answer | -

This model is a decocker version of the basic CZ 75 B model. The CZ 75 Omega is also not a ambi safety but comes with both a safety and a decocker. The decocking lever mounted on the left side allows the hammer to be easily lowered on a loaded chamber for a safe, ‘hammer down’ carry.
CZ 75 B is used by more Governments, Militaries, Police and Security agencies than any other pistol in the world. The CZ 75 is quite possibly the perfect pistol.

A:Fred, it should be easy for a gunsmith. The only difference in the B and the BD is one has a safety pin holding in the sear cage and one has a de-cocker pin holding the cage. The B has 2 sear hooks and the BD has only one.See 3 more answers | -

A:The Omega has the full "upswept" Beavertail. The 75 BD has what I call the stubby Beavertail. The original 75 B (excluding the stainless and SA models), 85 B, 85 Combat and 75BD have the stubby Beavertail. The stubby Beavertail, for my hand digs in a little bit, and I can't get as high on the gun as I want to. That being said, to me, the 75BD has the better trigger system. I prefer it over the Omega. The Omega trigger system has less parts, maybe justifying the price. Same goes for P-07/P-09 being on the cheaper end(price wise) of CZ products.See 5 more answers | -

A:Not sure about the trade but the CZ is eligible for 90-day layaway with a 20% down payment for Team Bud's members only. If you are a Team Bud's member, add it to your cart and proceed to checkout as if you are paying for it now. When you get to the payment page there will be a 90-day layaway option. Select that option and Complete the checkout out process. "Once Complete," go to the top of the web page and select "order status." This will bring up your order number and amount which will have three red buttons to the right. Select the first button, "payment." This takes you to the page where you make the 20% minimum down payment with bank funds transfer (routing/account numbers required) or credit card. The Order Is NOT Complete Until The Down Payment Is Made. This means the item is NOT pulled from inventory nor is the price guaranteed until payment is made. After the down payment, you may pay at your discretion (using same payment options & steps), as long as you pay in full within 90 days.See 2 more answers |
