Want a fun .22lr with absolutely no practical use, this is your gun. Has taken any ammo you can find, reason, because of the ease of loading the gun. Drop a bullet in the pop-up barrel and go.

Pros.

1. Easy to load
2. Easy to clean
3. Very accurate for its size

Cons.

1. Small magazine
2. Will take dirty ammo, but the barrel gets clogged quick
3. Magazines are limited and spendy.

Buds good shipping time and CS.

I just picked up my gun today i looks good but there is now way to can pull the slide back with one hand, i bought it for my wife to shoot around and to carry and i don't know how she is going to be able to pull that thing back? I'm hoping if i put a few round threw it that it will not be so stiff. What was Taurus thinking on a .22lr pistol. Ill have more updates for this gun in the future.

I just recieved my gun today from my local FFL dealer and I was not satisfied with the service of the weapon. First, I ordered the Taurus 1220035 M22 22LR NKL Wood, but I did not get the correct grip for the weapon. Instead of the Rose Wood grip, as shown in the left corner, we received a grip that was brown in color. Second, the gun jammed several times while firing and the entire frame would come off when trying to clear the jammed bullets. The weapon continue to jam during the course of fire and the frame continued to dislodge.

i bought my taurus p22 in 2010, for around $200 bucks from buds. the owners book suggested that only ammo with a minimum of 40gr (weight projectile) is usable in this pistol. they are correct. i attempted to use a large variety of .22lr ammo in my p22. of all ammo tried, only 40 gr ammo worked well enough to cycle the action consistently. federal and winchester hv (high velocity) ammo worked flawlessly. this pistol is made in miami fl with a lifetime warrenty and shoots perfectly using recommended ammo. i rate it as a great buy. jeff.
