Springfield Armory 9M EMP CHAMP LWT 2TN - 10+1 Rounds

I liked this EMP but unfortunately didn’t shoot it much. It had an excellent trigger and sights. I ended up trading it in along with a micro Springfield for a Kimber Aegis. If I had it to do over I would have kept the EMP

I've owned this gun for about 2 years now. It's a beautiful gun to look at, and it shoots really well. A little trickier than my other 9mm to field strip and re-assemble, but that's a small trade-off for such a great looking gun that's such a pleasure to shoot. Highly recommended.

This pistol shoots as good as it looks. It is very accurate and I have had no issues with any type of ammo.

I purchased this weapon right after they came out to carry as a full time weapon. I've shot tons of ammo thru it without any malfunctions. It's very will made But a little tough to dissemble. Not bad after you get the hang of it. Beautiful weapon...glad I bought it...carry it every day. Thanks buds...keep up the good work.

My first purchase from Bud's and cannot believe how quick it was delivered, 2 or 3 days from ordering. This is my carry gun now in a Galco Stinger holster. I am a fan of 1911s in 9mm and this is a very well made and designed gun. I prefer the 4 in barrel over the smaller 3 inch and the longer Commander and Government models for carry, just the right balance of accuracy, weight and concealability. More accurate than my Glocks and I have not experienced a failure to fire with reloads or commercial ammo. Magazines are not readily available, however Springfield includes has a yellow colored paper that allows a one time purchase of factory magazines at a discount, so buy more than you think you will need. The only negative is that the magwell/handle is not bobbed. I read recently that Springfield has a new model with that is bobbed which help significantly with printing on your shirt when carrying concealed.

Finally got a hold of the EMP4, out of the box first 50 rounds had a couple ftf, and a couple fte. Good cleaning 200 rounds and gun is running great. Shoots a little high but can work that out. Gun is really fun to shoot. Really like all my Springfield 1911 style pistols.

Fast shipping and great price by Buds as usual. Upon arrival without firing it, I noticied a few things and sent it to Springfield Armory for warranty work. I appreciated the free shipping label, great service work and quick turn around time. They adjusted the sear spring for less tension on the disconnector, tuned the magazine catch for less effort and exchanged grips for a lighter color. I took it to the range today and shot 100 rounds in an IDPA match. Im glad it comes with three 10 round magazines. Zero failure to feed, zero failure to eject, zero failure to be really happy about this purchase. Great trigger. Easy to use sights. Ergonomic frame. Field strip and cleaning relatively easy for a 1911. Double taps a pleasure. I wish they made this gun in a left hand version so I could buy another one for my son.

I bought this gun a couple of weeks ago and was able to shoot if at the range for the first time yesterday. This is the first 1911 I have ever owned. I wanted something that had a thinner grip than my Beretta 92FS and looked a little flashier. This gun looks great and I found it to be a lot of fun to shoot. There's something about the combo of the stainless slide, black frame and cocobolo grips that I couldn't resist! I put about 250 rounds down range and shot very well with it. The sights are accurate and easy to acquire. Springfield Armory built a winner as far as I'm concerned. Bud's provided excellent service. I joined Team Buds, ordered it on Wednesday morning and was picking it up 2 days later. Great transaction, great pistol! If you're thinking about owning a 1911 pistol built especially for a 9 mm, you can't go wrong.

I was looking for this pistol for awhile, and Buds had it in stock. I received it recently and it was gorgeous! Yes a pistol can strike you that way. I ran some rounds through it and was impressed with the accuracy. I forgot to bring home the piece needed to assist in disassembling the recoil spring, but should not be an issue once I get it.
