The 60 anniversary 10/22 is a great little rifle. Before ordering, I read the questions and answers about this model and one was about the BX trigger and I can say that they do have the BX trigger installed. I even called Ruger and they confirmed that the gun comes with a BX trigger. The workmanship on this gun is what I expect from Ruger and I have never had a problem with the company and the many products that I have purchased from them.

I bought this mostly for the stainless threaded barrel, not thinking I would like the stock. Man was I wrong. This thing is amazing! It's fully adjustable and fits like a glove, easy to adjust length of pull and cheek height. Rifle runs smooth and accurate. Would buy again.

I really like rugers but this is my first 1022. The Magpul stock really sold me on this 60th anniversary model.

Not my first rifle, but my first 1022, and I'm very pleased so far. A big positive is being able to adjust the length of pull as most factory stocks are just too short for me. Accuracy wise it shot well straight out of the box with both iron sights and scoped using cci std velocity and subs. It should make a fine squirrel gun which was the intention. Attached is the first 40 rds shot using iron sights straight out of the box before any adjustment. I zeroed the iron sights first as I didn't need to remove the ghost ring to fit the Athlon neos scope using Warne medium quad lock mounts.

  • Q: Is the trigger on this 60th Anniversary a BX 23 or is it the standard trigger?

    John, this has a standard trigger. It's good bit pricier but here's a timney 1.5-2 pound trigger that I have and great trigger, link here..................... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/714020690/timney+ruger+10+22+calvin+elite+rd ...................... The best trigger I've found is the kidd two stage trigger. It's a phenomenal trigger Wich has a pull as light as 6 ounces (3 ounces on the first stage and 3 ounces on the second stage) or as heavy as 2.5 pounds but unfortunately buds doesn't have any in stock. Hope this helps.

  • Q: This rifle has a flash hider at the end of the barrel from what I understand. Is this rifle NJ legal in its current configuration?

    Hi Isaac, you are correct, the flash hider/threaded muzzle combination makes this non-compliant in NJ.
    Pinned/welded would be ok, but not in it's current state. As fellow NJ resident, I feel your pain.
