Have a CW380, this 7 shot CT380 may be the perfect pocket CCW. Three dot sights are great, CERAKOTE from the factory is done wonderfully. The extra grip length and barrel length really show up at the range, but the gun fits both the same pocket holsters and waistband holsters as its little(r?) brother. The Pachmeyer grip sleeve was an unexpected bonus! I'd give this one 6 stars if I could. P.S. Too bad there is no TP380 available: might be a good idea for their "new model" product line.

The CT380 is a fine pistol but Not for the faint of heart! You have to love guns and be willing to do what is necessary to break this puppy in. The dual recoil spring is very stout to say the least. It has gotten easier after the first 100 but be warned grip strength is mandatory rack the slide. I would recommend locking the action open and leaving it that way for a day or two. Kahr recommends a 200 round break in and I have to agree with them. Also Kahr recommends utilizing the slide lock to load the first round. If you do not be it will fail to feed almost every time. PROS: The fit and finish are superior. The tungsten cerkote covers the slide inside and out as well as the trigger. The included magazine comes with a pinky extension which allows for a full grip. Rear sight is dovetailed allowing for drift adjustment. Night sights are available directly from Kahr for 80 bucks. The trigger is very smooth but only after break in. It is a striker fired weapon but the trigger pull is more like a light double action. Which is perfect for a pocket pistol. Recoil is very manageable. A lot of micro 380 pistols are not much fun at the range but I enjoy shooting my Kahr. The concealability of the CT380 is comparable to the Ruger LCP or LCP 2 with an extended magazine. CONS: It is very ammo sensitive. You can not run cheap ammo and you may not be able to run some not so cheap ammo either. Break in required and 380 ammo is not the cheapest. I purchased the CT380 to replace my Ruger LCP 2. I wanted sights that were adjustable and replaceable. I also wanted a slightly longer grip without a magazine extension. I got what I was looking for. I trust my Kahr now that I have broken it in. I can not recommend this to a novice shooter. I can recommend it to someone who appreciates quality workmanship and very tight tolerances and is willing to take the time to break it in.

This is just one of many guns I have purchased from Buds, and it was another flawless transaction. On to the review of the Kahr CT380. The good; Very good looking gun with enough grip space to get about half your little finger on the grip with the flush mag. Wonderful trigger with bright white 3 dot sights. It is the most accurate small pistol I have ever shot, and I own and have shot several. It is light, fast and controllable. The bad; Man that slide is stiff right out of the box, I'm not sure if it gets easier after using it a bunch or you just get stronger. Very ammo sensitive, absolutely hated some ammo and liked others. Kahr advises a 200 round break in, and I agree. On my first trip to the range I had trouble with a name brand reloaded round nose FMJ and a couple of over seas brand named ammo jamming in the magazine or fail to feed malfunctions almost every round. Prior to that I had only a couple of fail to feeds out of 100 rounds with Sig FMJ. More good; Before my second trip to the range I super cleaned the gun and greased the rails. I shot Remington FMJ, Blazer Brass FMJ, and Lawman FMJ, a total 150 rounds without a malfunction. I also shot 50 Hornady American gunner HP's without a problem. So be aware of the break in and test a few different types of ammo and you'll be good to go.

Bought as a purse concealed carry gift for my daughter. Being that it’s a Kahr, I fired 240 rounds through it to break it in per Kahr’s instructions. I found that to be absolutely necessary with my own CCW Kahr CM9 before relying on it. It is now my favorite CCW, and I even enjoy firing it at the range now that it’s loosened up with several hundred rounds fired through it. The CT380 has been a bit of a surprise. I knew, given its small size and light weight, that it would probably be as snappy as the CM9, but not quite as much as I encountered. It’s certainly controllable with the reloads I specifically developed for it, but be ready for some muzzle blast and the trigger guard recoiling into the first knuckle of your trigger finger if you use commercial ammo. I awarded it four stars because of the trigger travel, which is excessive, although it is smooth. Firing the gun becomes more positive after realizing you have to accommodate that trigger, and I am pleased with the accuracy of body mass hits at the 5 to 8 yard range.

My CT380 arrived quickly to my Buds approved FFL after completion of my layaway order. I left my FFL and headed right to the range and ran through a couple mags of PPU 94g FMJ through with zero issues (how dare I?). Accurate as can be for its size at 10 yards. This will be a great light clothing EDC and carries well in a pocket holster. There was a minor issue with my order, nothing worth mentioning, but Amy S. was able to quickly and painlessly resolve. 100% satisfied with price, customer service, and the little tungsten finish Kahr.
