I like my PT 745! It has functioned without problems for several years. It is very compact for a .45 I chose the single stack because it feels better in my hand than the double stack. Personal preference.

I bought this as a CC weapon. Well, IMHO, Piece o Crap. I undoubtedly need to send this weapon back to the factory. The magazines do not fit snuggly into the weapon. It appears that the mag catch does not fully engage. As soon as it's fired, the mag drops a mm or 2. The weapon then either stove pipes or Fail to Feed. Every time! Additioanlly, unless you have very small hands, two or three fingers will extend below the grip frame - not comfortable. Maybe I just got a bad one but, NOT a CC weapon for sure.

read about this gun on the internet. many people say taurus are no good. I have fired over 1000 rounds through this gun and never had a problem at all. this is a good gun.

First This Gun Is A Nice Looking Gun But When I Received Mine It Had A Chip On Top Of The Gun So U Can See Metal And The Black Finish And Also When You Release The Mag It Doesn't Drop Smoothly It Contains A Cheap Plastic Clip Which Results That You Have To Pull The Clip Out Your Self So NO Quick Reloads!!!

All i can say is WOW! What a great gun right out the box,great feel,wieght,verylittle kick, easy takedown. 75rds of monarch hollws and 75rds of fmj not a single hickup. I've owned alot of gun but this is without a doubt my new fav.Along with this i also purchased a LC9 RUGER W/LASERMAX and thought i would enjoy the 9mm more BOY was i wrong. If your looking for a .45cal just buy it!!!!!

First buy from Bud's went very smooth. Purchased this Taurus PT-745 and have got to tell you folks this is one great little .45 ! Took it to my range in my back yard ( I live in the California Desert) and fired a 50 rd. box of Blazer Brass Ammo 233 gr. with NO jams. I love this little Monster. Bud's shipped it quickly just as advertised. I will definitely buy another firearm from Bud's, Very satisfied with this deal. Taurus pistols ROCK !

This is a great concealed carry weapon that packs the desired punch. At 6'2" and 240 lbs. I am able to easily conceal this pistol in a Smart Carry deep concealment holster comfortably all day long. The PT-745 is well built and very manageable to fire. Smooth cycling and tight groupings. I can find nothing to complain about with this gun and would not hesitate to buy another Taurus as it has proven to be a quality built and dependable CC weapon.

All i can say is that i cannot understand why some complain about this firearm. This is an excellent firearm.. took it to the range today and fired 250 rounds of every type of ammo, Federal, Remington, Winchester, Fiocchi and Hornady Critical defense, Didnt once have a ftf or fte. Has a Nice Trigger and not snappy recoil. So i dont know what the problem may be with others, But i Give this one a Five Star rating without second thought. Thank you Bud's for this one. It Rocks!

Purchased for CCW. Have been to range 3 times with the PT745. Last time out was able to put head shots at 15 yds standing up. Been shooting about 7 months so for a novice being able to shoot that well on a 3in barrel speaks well for the PT745. So far very pleased with this firearm and with Taurus in general. Due to ammo prices been using cheaper FMJ like Federal/Blazer Brass with no issues. You can pay a lot more for more recognized brand names but for what I need PT745 is a great choice.

Very happy with this handgun. Bought it for ccw, and it is perfect for that purpose. Shoots very accurate within 50 feet. Deadly at 21! Looks great and action is smooth. Doesn't kick as much as my S&W 9MM. Really like the red flag that indicates a loaded chamber. Dual safety feature is nice. Double strike capability is awesome, and a great time saver on misfires. Had to clean the gun immediately. Must have been shot at least a dozen times before shipment. Gun was lubricated with a grease instead of an oil. That was a pain to clean. Apart from the inconvenience, I'm extremely pleased. You cannot beat the price for this value and warranty!!! Thanks again, Bud"s.
