Gen 3 Glocks are in my opinion the best gen of Glocks. And this model 35 blows my mind. Perfect weight balance with the nearly 5 1/2 inch barrel gives this gun a really amazing feel in the hand. I have always loved the gen 3 grips and how they really bite into your palm and give you a really secure grip. The long site radius on this gun is why it is so accurate when you shoot it. The slide cut on the barrel is a really nice aesthetic yet also functional as well. I popped a heavy tungsten recoil spring in and put in a grip plug and that's it. I initially bought this gun after i sold my Sig 229 in searching for something with a little bit more magazine capacity, and something i could share my Glock 22 mags with, so I bought this. Glock reliability, with the ability to run 50 round drum mags, and is accurate out to 100 yards, and are carried by police and SWAT teams and is used by Competition shooters. One of the best models that Glock has ever made.

Quite satisfied with the Glock G35. The G35 fits my hands great & the lighter trigger pull is awesome. As this will be used primarily for hunting back up at close range, I wanted a longer barrel. I haven't had any issues with the fmj & hollow point ammo that I have fired and the recoil isn't unwieldy. Finding long barrel semi-autos, in stock & at a reasonable price, has been rather difficult. Was never really interested in Glocks in the past, but after trying one and doing a great deal of research, I found them to fit my "requirements" better than most other manufacturers. Also with the amount of after market parts and accessories available, I can make adjustments to better suit my uses over the stock setup.

The usual Glock quality. Many hundreds of rounds through it and have had nearly no issues. I took it to a training class where we fired 400 - 500 rounds in one day and it performed beautifully.

  • Q: Seeing as how it is impossible to purchase a Glock 35 MOS these days, what adapter plate do I need for this Glock 35, Gen3 to be able to fit Vortex Defender ST Red Dot?

    What you would need to do is find a quality company that will mill the slide for a Direct fit for the optic of your choice (In your case, the Vortex Defender ST Red Dot optic). As far as a cover plate to put on if you remove the optic, that you'd have to ask the company if they can fabricate one.

    Elvin, yes, although this model is not Optics Ready as Paul stated. You could use a Dovetail based Optics Plate in place of the rear sight also as Paul stated. Don't know why he continues to mouth me in his posts instead of just simply helping folks. Maybe envious, maybe jealously, I don't know nor care too know. Maybe Paul F should mind his own business simply to keep the volunteer work of helping folks clean. Elvin asked a simple question and deserves a simple answer.     Lawrence, not in totality. Buy a 10mm Glock to start with and with a simple barrel change you can shoot 10mm, 9x25 Dillon, 40S&W and 357Sig out of one platform using the same magazine. Above you can convert to 357Sig from 40S&W but not 10mm.
