I think this gun has gotten a bad rap from some reviewers. I bought one a couple weeks ago and have shot 200 rounds through it without a single problem. It fits my hand perfectly, the recoil is not bad at all, easy to break down and clean, very true shooter. I can see where some people might say that the trigger is too hard, but that's the way I want to be, not hard, but at least you its there, not a hair trigger. It is as accuate as any auto of this caliber and this size that I have ever shot. You can't beat the price for this quality of a gun. My only problem is no saftey. I would give it 6 stars if S&W wouldn't have forgotten about that. But it is still worth a 5 for me.

Just purchased this March 15th 2008. Fired 50rds at Bud's indoor range. He gave me and a buddy free range time as we both bought pistols. Had no malfunctions whatsoever with CCI Lawman ammo. Accuracy was ok but maybe just have to get used to gun. Buds is a pleasure to deal with and has the best prices I've seen anywhere! Highly recommend them to all! Steve
