The SIG SAUER® SP2022® is the latest version of our popular polymer framed pistol and features a durable, lightweight and wear-resistant polymer frame with the added tactical versatility of an integrated accessory rail. The slide is machined from a solid block of stainless steel and protected by SIG’s black Nitron® finish. Available in 9mm, and .40 S&W. It also features the SIG SAUER four-point safety system. The SIG SAUER polymer framed pistols has earned an enviable reputation and proven track record of reliable performance in the hands of law enforcement professionals. In December of 2004 the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command at the Rock Island Arsenal awarded SIG SAUER a contract for 5,000 SIG SAUER SP2022 pistols chambered in 9mm.

This gun is fantastic! No complaints, however, if you are prone to limp wristing you may experience a few FTE's. I have full size 1911's, so I didn't know I held them like a pansy until I fired the 2022. I've got it down now and couldn't be happier. Be advised....VERY long DA trigger pull. Not many acessories out there for this pistol other that Crimson Trace Grips and stainless steel guide rod. Holsters are also fairly difficult to come by. It has extremely tight/stiff action out of the box, but after 300 rds, it's super smooth. Disassembly is tricky the first time, but this also loosens up after a few times. Bud's was awesome...as always. This version is CA compliant as of 11/2/11

    George, this pistol comes in a hard plastic case, owners manual, warranty registration card (1) 10rd Magazine, cable lock, bore brush, tube of gun lube, orange chamber block and changeable palm swell grip backstrap. I would check with Buds Customer Service to see if this batch ships with the Kydex Style Holster or not at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon-Sat and 11am - 7pm Sun (7 days a week).
