The Thunder PRO is an excellent choice for anyone preferring a high capacity handgun. Choose from a 17 or 13 round magazine (9MM vs .40 S&W respectively), and you have one of the highest capacity handguns available. You can depend on this gun for service, self-defense or sport.

Ergonomically designed to deliver shooting comfort and maximum accuracy, the Thunder series features an improved Browning Petter locking system for reliable feeding and ejecting. The Bersa is a great engineered design and is worth more than they actually go for. I find this an inexpensive gun with expensive gun dependability. I have 3 Bersa's and I would not trade them for anything. I would match them with S&W and Sig. I use mine as a carry weapon. The research I have done on Bersa and the history of the creators of Bersa convinced me to buy them. Go Argentina!

I took the gun to a shooting range shortly after receiving my Bersa. Put 200 rounds through the chamber. The Carter pin to the safety switch shrunk and popped out the safety switch and Jammed the gun. Had to take the gun to a blacksmith to fix. Haven't fired it since.

Awesome firearm. Put over 1K rounds through it with no issues. I have owned a handful of BERSAs, 380's, 9mm's, 40's, 45's. Every single one has been rock solid, accurate as a $1000 gun and reliable as a Beretta. The trigger on this one specifically is nicer than the trigger on my 92FS or any other double/single action external hammer fired gun I have owned for that matter (a few...) If the new BERSA Thunder Pro TPRs are anything like the original BERSA Thunder Pro, they will also be winners. BERSA rocks. Buds ROCKS.

Had to wait until I was able to get to the range before i reviewed. As usual, buds was freakin awesome. The weapon itself performed flawlessly after 100rds of brass range rounds. Very well balanced and accurate. This is the easiest weapon i have ever cleaned as well as far as field stripping goes. The downside, and why it's not 5 stars, is the trigger pull. It takes some getting used to because it's very long and you don't get resistance until the very end so you basically have depress the trigger until you feel it, and then squeeze the round off. Extremely accurate once you get used to it

Thanks to Buds gunshop they made it a smooth transaction. As for the pistol that was anything but smooth. After only 27 rounds the gun came apart. The slide catch fell out and a pin. I tracked down a service person for Bersa returned it for service received the pistol back in one piece they replaced a defective part. I went to the range fired 11 rounds failure to feed. Cleared the gun fired 3 rounds failure to feed. I disassembled the pistol cleaned and oiled it. Fired about thirty rounds failure to feed. I took the pistol to a gunsmith had them go thru it. ($40) It had some rough spots they were buffed out. The pistol fired good for another 100 rounds. I cleaned it and sold it while it was in working condition. I would not recommend this pistol i found it to be to undependable. I would not depend on this pistol to save my life in a bad situation

Nice gun for the price.I put 50 rounds thru it no problems at all.The only negatives are the grip seems a lil cheesy ,and trying to get that 13th round in the mag was a lil tight.Over all seems to be well worth the money.
