Does this have ambi mag release? All it talks about is the LEM trigger. I understand it has a paddle mag release but is it ambi?

Yes, that style mag release on the HK is ambidextrous. The paddle is on the sides of near near end part if the trigger guard. If you are used to an American style magazine release this might feel a little weird. But as with all firearms... practice practice practice makes perfect.

The P2000 is an ideal size and weight to comply with the requirements of the full range of police and security missions, including concealed carry. The cold-hammer barrel features a polygonal bore profile for increased velocity and outstanding shooting accuracy. It has a low-profile slide, ambidextrous magazine release and dual slide release levers for right or left-handed use. The P2000 utilizes a modular grip with exchangeable back straps and a set of "industry standard" mounting grooves molded into the frame for installing accessories. This Variant 2 LEM model has a LEM DAO trigger system, polymer recoil absorber "stop" bushing, and night sights. Included are three additional backstraps and two 13-round magazines.

Top notch pistol at a great price

Ideal for AIWB, which is why I got it. Pin your thumb on the hammer while holstering for safety. LEM trigger is a dream. I put XS Big Dot sights on it. Besides sights the only "upgrade" needed is the larger HK45C mag release paddle ($20, two minutes). About a thousand rounds through it. I had one case rupture for some reason, had difficulty extracting from chamber, but did not damage the gun, seems to have been an ammo issue; ZERO other issues. This is an under appreciated weapon. If you are even considering it, stop wasting time and buy it.

Absolutely love this pistol. Had a USP9 Compact in the past and this compares well, for a lighter price tag. Quality is what you would expect from HK, superb. Hassle free shipping from Bud's, no issues.

Fantastic pistol. Probably my favorite pistol ever made, and certainly my favorite H&K ever made. You simply can't go wrong with this firearm.

Excellent gun with an excellent trigger. The HK LEM Trigger is by far the best and safest trigger for conceal carry. Very smooth take up to a single action pull. Recoil is very minimal. Only negative are the standard white sights. Night sights would have been nice.
