HK reliability still runs on the USP line up. The downside was the double action trigger. A few hundred rounds should make it less harder to pull.

What’s to say that hasn’t been said about this iconic HK. Great gun they say it’s old and outdated says the guys that won’t buy it! It is worth the money you pay. I personally added a jet funnel and the mags and it took the usp to whole new level. The weapon is combat ready right out the box.

The USP definitely shows its age in design when compared to modern pistols, especially in ergonomics. Some people, a few of my own friends included, dislike how this pistol feels in their hands. I have to agree with them on some points, this thing is a brick. The exact things they dislike about it are the same things I love about this weapon. Ran fine without malfunctions through questionable ammo, very reliable. One thing to be aware of is the accessory rails are not standard picatinny rails. This is an older design and has its own proprietary system. Your standard accessories won't fit properly without some sort of adapter (These adapters are fairly easy to find, but all of this has a significant impact on holster fit) Very soft shooting and easy to keep on target. I had a very pleasant experience with this at the range.

I owned a USP years ago, but eventually sold it because the trigger never smoothed out. This USP is quite different in that way. The trigger on this one is excellent and I was able to shoot much tighter groups from the get go. The trigger, the overall feel of the gun, plus the unmatched reliability of the gun has made this my go-to for home defense. I don't compete with it, but I do defend myself and my family with it. Great gun.

Super quality as expected from HK. Functions flawlessly and easy to shoot. Highly reliable and accurate. Overall the gun is a little on the bulky side but for someone with larger hands like myself it’s a great fit.

She may be old style with a hammer but this gun is deadly accurate and has never malfunctioned in thousands of rounds. H&K means quality and it certainly does show here. 5 stars

If you've done your research and found yourself looking at H&K, you should know what you're in for. The USP is no exception. Classic design, flawless function, durable, reliable, what more could you want? Pricey? Sure, but worth it. Bud's has the best prices around, and the cash discount cannot be beat. I ordered online and picked up in store, great service from the gun counter and check out. Can't recommend Bud's enough.

An excellent gun if you're in the market for a polymer Double action/Single Action Gun that will last you years. However, there are other options that may fit your needs and wallet better. Pros: - Great ergonomics, especially with the exaggerated slide release and the safety/decocker - Ambidextrous safety and mag release - Recoil is noticeably lower compared to other polymer full size 9mm's - Aggressive grip texture that allows for an excellent purchase on the grip - Finish and overall build quality is outstanding leading to fantastic reliability. - Paddle mag works very well at ejecting mags (this is just my opinion because I have large hands) - Smooth double action trigger Cons: - Expensive, no getting around it - Proprietary rail that requires an adapter for lights/lasers - 15 round capacity - Grip texture may be slightly too aggressive - Slight creep on the trigger. The break isn't very clean either.

This is an H&K product, so you know it will meet, if not exceed, your standards. For reference, this firearm is on the level of my Sig Sauer P220 made in West Germany, if not better. It's easily one of the best handguns i've ever shot, after 400 rounds of walmart's cheapest aluminum cased ammo there were no problems at all. But you know what you're getting when you buy a German made firearm; excellence. Buds guns had my purchase shipped to my FFL before my handgun permit was even valid (Iowa for reference) when i ordered the firearm right after i submitted the application for my permit at the sheriff's office. I have nothing but good things to say from my first purchase with Buds, and i will order from them again.
