Great hand gun. Very accurate. After several years and a couple thousand rounds this gun remains my favorite. Thank you Bud’s for a smooth transaction and excellent communication.

I have the polymer frame witness and really like it, but wanted more options of upgradable parts. I lobeve the way this gun feels, very comfortable in the hands! Has weight to it, but it isn't too heavy. Brought it to the range and put about 250 rounds through it with only 2 ftf/fte, both of which were due to crappy casings (Winchester steel casing junk). But it shoots nice, as I figured it would! Very accurate, not a lot of recoil, I really like it! The only negative that I am kind of disappointed with is the finish machining, there are a few spots that should be smoothed better. They are purely cosmetic, but still disappointing. Overall I am quite satisfied and highly recommend an EAA witness.

First the good: This is the softest shooting gun I own. The fit and finish is very good. I have only run about 200-300 rounds through the gun, but so far there have been no failures with either factory or hand loads. The gun is way more accurate than I am and it is a joy to shoot. Did I mention the soft shooting?? If you like the feel of a CZ 75 you will like this gun. I honestly do not know of a better gun for the money. Now for the OK: First, it only comes with one magazine. I knew this before I ordered, but it still irritates me. Second, the front sight can not be removed
eplaced. Again I knew this before I purchased the gun. But I do wish they would dovetail in a front sight so I could replace it with a fiber optic sight. Finally, I am not a fan of the hard plastic grip panels. My other steel witnesses have panels that are a bit more "rubberized". In any case I am unimpressed with the grips panels and I will be changing them out soon. Think Hogue.. Bad: I got nothing. There is nothing I actually dislike about this gun. While I have voiced a couple of frustrations, that is all they are. The gun will continue to be one of my favorites and will be my main center fire steel challenge gun this summer. I will probably buy one more in the near future for backup and just because.

I just received this handgun yesterday from Buds. I read all the reviews and was expecting the black that everyone else had received.. To my delight when I opened the box it was the polished coppertone in the picture. This is really a beautiful piece and the color is awesome. I can't wait to take it to the range. Thanks Buds for delivering an awesome piece.

A very good CZ clone for the price. Fit and finish great on this weapon. It is accurate and goes bang every time I pull the trigger.

Bud's price and Bud's shipping was great - UNFORTUNATELY, the new gun had at least two manufacturing defects that weren't immediately noticeable when I inspected the gun when I picked it from the FFL - so, per Bud's rules (which are fair), I now have to ship the gun back to the manufacturer (EAA) at my expense, and pay $20 for warranty work (per the EAA web site) - I am disappointed in the quality of the gun and EAA's policy requiring me to pay to have Tanfoglio's manufacturing defects fixed.

This is one GREAT pistol. I had a compact model that I sold so I could buy this full sized model. I loved the compact, but I just wanted a full sized model. The EAA Witness is a great pistol at a great price at BUDS, whether it is compact or full sized.

Very happy with the unit and the EAA catalog of parts. The Tanfoglio frame is tight and note the slide runs inside the frame. Slides, barrels and magazines from other Tanfoglio manufactured models (CZ75, Magnum Research Baby Eagle,...) also fit this frame for mix and match of looks and calibers.

This is a well made very solid pistol. It has a well machined steel frame and slide. It is based on the CZ75 design but is slightly more stylish in is appearance. The trigger looks thin but is actually solid machined steel billet and quite strong for the 19rd rapid fire. Fit finish and function equal US standards. IMO because steel is used it surpasses US polymer pistols for true value and quality as it is not made of plastic. Money well spent

Tanfoglio makes a very solid handgun that is easy to clean. I bought this as my first step into handguns because reviews showed that this 9mm had been tested to shoot 10,000 rounds without a jam. I didn't have quite that much luck but can say that I have not only found this to be an accurate and well-balanced gun but very reliable. I had one jam and noticed I had not given the chamber ramp enough lubrication after cleaning. It has never given me a problem again. In fact, I fall back on this one when I am getting into bad habits with my higher caliber guns and it is always reliable. The clips easily take 15 rounds but beyond that you have to either be Shrek or have a manual loader to get more in. I feel the photos are improper advertising for the Wonder finish and should be changed online so they all show the dark grayish finish they really are. The Wonder finish is as easy to care for as stainless and I actually like the appearance although it was not what I expected. GW
