o.k boys and girls,heres my take on the eaa steel .45.buds shipped the gun over night,however i was not notified by my ffl that the gun was at ther shop. bad ffl dealer. its a heavy full size steel gun.very tight action,allso hard to rack slide as the slide serrations are small and hard to grasp.i own several eeas including a .380 pavona and none of them are this hard to operate.hopefully after i have fired 2 or 3 hundreds rounds thru it it will loosen up a bit. excellent fit and finish,good single action trigger pull.

I ordered the gun on Tuesday and had it in my hands on Thursday in Dallas, Texas. This is the third gun bought from Bud’s, and as usual very happy with the fast service. I sold my Ruger SR-1911 so that I could purchase the EAA Tanfoglio .45 ACP. The fit and finish is much nicer than the Ruger. It’s a step up.

I really like the new Witness. By the way, the full size Witness now comes from the factory with the accessory rail. I have ordered a Blade Tech holster for it and look forward to shooting this handgun. Bud's service is 100% and I am always confident of the speedy delivery and great folks that I have dealt with. CS

I really love this gun. I liked the way it fit my hand from the very first time I held it. I has been very comfortable to shoot and has worked well in the numerous USPSA matches that I have participated in.. It has been very acurate and has had very few jaming incidences. For the price it just can't be beat. If it has any faults it might be just that for some it might feel just a little more heavy than some of the other 45's that I have handled. Some of that might be the fact that it has a 10 shot magazine instead of the 7 or 8 shots that many of it's competitors have. If you compare the prices of those other guns against the EAA it is one of the best guns on the market for the price.
