The FN Self-Loading Police Shotgun offers the soft-recoil and the reliability of a gas-operated auto-loading action. Standard features include a M1913 rail with precision front and rear ghost ring shighting system. Rear ghost ring sight is removable for the use of optics. Incorporates the Invector choke system (cylinder and improved cylinder chokes) for accurate performance with rifled slugs when needed. Comes standard with two gas pistons (heavy & light loads) for optimum performance in payload delivery. Corrosion resistant finish (manganese phosphate on steel components for added durability.) Anodizing on aluminum. • Caliber 12 gauge with 3 inch chamber

Great service from Bud's. This shotgun is a great shooter. Bought and used a 22" rifled barrel on this gun for recent deer season. Very accurate. FNH is a great product. Very happy with this gun.

I emailed FN Herstal because I had a question about shell weights. They called me within an hour and talked to me for 15 minutes. Awesome customer service. Anyways, they told me to just make sure I shot at least 2 3/4 shells with 1 1/8 oz shot and a dram eq. of 3. FN said it was not necessary to buy any high priced or fancy shells, just do not shoot low recoil or home defense buckshot loads. I went to Walmart and bought the Remington 100 shell packs that just meet the minimums and the remington 2 3/4 inch 00 buckshot that come in the fifteen shell value packs. I fired a couple of hundred rounds with a mix of the buckshot and field load without any failure of any kind. The gun cycles so fast you can shoot seven shells and it sounds like you have only fired 3. I will be feeding it Wal-Mart Remington. I see no need to buy 3 inch shells because I was ripping wooden pallets in half with the mix of buckshot and birdshot with the 2 3/4 shells. Buds is awesom and FN is awesome. I will be purchasing the 22 inch Mark I version as well. This weapon is unbeleivable.

This gun is awesome. I'll be selling my Saiga 12 and Mossberg 500. This gun blows any other defense shotgun off the map. The (2) pistons are no problem at all. They are easy to switch and actually makes the gun cycle more reliably if you are using light loads. You can empty the gun in about a second. I have never seen anything that compares.
