Good shooter and easy to carry into the squirrel woods. Good for smaller shooters to use for practice.

Great rifle. Fired a whole 555 rounds Winchester value pack through it at its first range session. I only planed on shooting 200 rounds but I could not stop shooting this rifle, it's just too much fun. Not one malfunction with the BX-25 magazine and the included 10 rounder. Accuracy was very good out to 100 yards for a 16 inch .22 LR barrel. Zeroed it in for 50 yards, bullet drop at 100 yards is about 5 inches. The rifle was very dirty towards the end but it kept going without any issues. I did clean and lubricate it before shooting. Buds shipping was always excellent.

The Ruger 10/22 is one of my favorite rimfire rifles. The classic hardwood is beautiful partnered with a blued barrel. Sights are great with fiber optic pipes that shine bright in lighted areas, they line up exactly on target. They are comparable to a pistol, that took a little time to get used to. Magazine options are endless, and the gun shoots every brand of 22LR from cheap to high end target rounds. The shorter barrel makes carrying and/or tossing it in the back of the Can Am or truck so simple. This is my 4th 10/22 and out of all of them this one sees the most action. As always Budsgunshop had the best price and layaway is a breeze. Thanks

I got the compact version 10/22 mostly for my kids to shoot, but the size is really comfortable for me to shoot as well. Very accurate, and it's a lot of fun to shoot. I do wish the bolt locked open on an empty mag, and that the bolt release were a bit easier to operate, for the sake of introducing young new shooters to firearms handling, though I know those things can be changed after-market if they were really important to me.

Handy little rifle. Shorter length of pull and barrel. Looks good too without the barrel band on the standard model. I purchased this for my granddaughter to use when she is old enough to learn to shoot. Fiber optic sights are great and appear to be both windage and elevation adjustable on the rear sight.

Just ordered this sweet baby! going to last decades and decades to come would recommend to everyone what is looking to purchase a .22lr rifle, this is semi-automatic that can hold 10-30 rounds and shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger. very reliable and has a wide verity of accessories for it as well. YOU WONT REGRET ! BUY

I wanted an entry level .22 cal rifle that is reliable and fun to shoot. The Ruger 10/22 compact rifle fits the bill very well. It's well made and there is a huge user group to leverage experience and recommendation. There are also many many potential upgrades available for the rifle. The rifle can be a little finicky during the break-in period but again, lots of experience to leverage. The advertisement for the rifle is too minimal to make a knowledgeable decision or even understand what you're buying, but by doing a Google search on the full title and model number, you can find what you need. The shipping was super fast and the ordering process was simple.
