Love this gun, great balance and ergos and sexy. I bought some 9mm CZ slides from ebay and voila, now it shots multi caliber perfectly. Added a Kadet kit and it is a tack drivng plinker to boot. One of my favorite pieces, CZ's are reasonably priced compared to some of the other mfgs, while delivering excellent performance and accuracy on the range.

This gun has been an excellent performer and I've not had a single stoppage in the 400 or so rounds that I've put through it so far. CZ makes surprisingly accurate guns (I have one of these in 9mm also) and though the feel is quite different, it comes very close to matching my 1911 for accuracy. I put some CZ factory cocobolo grip panels on it and now it looks as good as it shoots. Its pretty heavy due to the all steel construction (you probably wouldn't want to carry this bad boy concealed all day), but it also has a very solid feel and no rattles or play anywhere. The single action trigger is excellent, and the double action trigger smooths out after a few hundred pulls and becomes very predictable with no discernible stacking. Throw in the availability of aftermarket upgrades and CZ's solid reputation and you've got a real winner here. I really like this gun and am very happy with the purchase. This is one of the best .40 S&W cal. firearms I have ever purchased and fired. The smooth and balanced action of this firearm makes it joy to shoot, and the 4.7" barrel approches 1911 style accuracy. I was putting Remington 180 gr. JHP ammo down the tube at 40 yrds. shooting from a bench rest was getting 1.5" to 2.5" groups! I even surprised myself...and I'm sure you will be too! W.D.F.
