These are intended for deer hunting, etc. They do well for that purpose. When sighting in with a scope, I can get groups with holes touching at 100 yards with an LPVO out of my Henry Side Gate. 4 deer with this ammo. Never any tracking - they just fall right there. And with proper placement there's no meat loss. We have yet to recover any bullets or fragments. I think Leverevolution is a good idea. 45-70 and 44 Mag loads are nice and stout. 45 Colt loads are weak. 30-30 loads are probably good, but in my Remlin 336SS they weren't grouping as well as traditional soft tips, most likely due to rifling. In my experience this 45-70 load gets 5 stars. I'm sighted in for it for deer and it's all I buy. It is priced very reasonably, especially here at Bud's. I just bought a few more to make sure I'm stocked.
