The received unit shoots great, but was not overly excited about the scope. The scope is good, but could be better. I've thoroughly enjoyed using this 17hmr rifle at this price point.

This one has earned its spot at the table. Accurate little rifle. Replaced the glass and have had many kids shoot under 3/4" groups at 50yds. I lost count how many groundhogs it's killed.Buds top notch to deal with as well.

Rifle and scope is good. I purchased it for shooting varmints and just target practice.
I had a 17 already but Bud offered this Savage at such a good deal. I believe nobody
will have too many guns.

Have not had time to shoot it yet but it is a really nice 17 hmr savage feels really good in my hands the only problem I have with it a really big problem is when I got it home and took it out of the box to clean all the grease off it I noticed the crown was scratched up real bad it was the last place I thought to look but it's to late now it's in my name still a really nice rifle for the price just look it over really good before you sign for it.
