This has become my fovorite gun. It is very accurate and the trigger is awsome. Ive made head shots on squirrels at 75yds. Killed a couple wild hogs also . The heavy barrel give a steady hold.

Great rifle in 22 magnum for the price, and a good quality scope. At 25 yards good groups with federal 50 grain ammunition. Was not in stock it took about a week to arrive at buds, great service and help.

I purchased this rifle a couple of years back and have enjoyed it very much. I knew from the beginning I wasn't going to like the composite stock so I immediately replaced it with wood furniture. I read a lot of reviews on this gun before I bought it and noticed that many people found that flat nose ammo meant feeding problems. I experienced the same until I tightened the stock screws (very tight!) and tried again. Eurika! Feeding issue solved. Apparently the magazine was slightly off causing the problem. The rifle is in typical Savage form as far as accuracy goes. It's a "tack driver". My only complaint is the shortage of magnum ammo at the present time but that isn't the fault of either the rifle of Savage. Availability is coming back slowly but too slowly. I own 2 Savage rifles and wish all gun manufacturers were as committed to customer satisfaction as Savage is. .

RECEIVED THIS GUN WITHIN FOUR DAYS FROM BUDS. THIS GUY IS UNBELIEVABLY ACCURATE. NICE TRIGGER. VERY WELL MADE. I AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED. THE REAL BONUS CAME WHEN BUDS NOTIFIED ME THAT IT WAS TO BE ABSOLUTELY FREE. WOW!!!

Shoots cloveleaf or better groups with many different Rimfire Brands @ 50 yrds. Nicely made gun as usual with Savage. Accutrigger is nice. Stainless is the way to go. Clip locks in well.
