Another awesome gun thanks buds

Love this gun. Very well made, shoots great. Super price. Fun gun for plinking.

Purchased through Bud's. Arrived at my FFL the very next day! Rifle was neatly packaged for damage-free shipment. Rifle itself was exactly as described. Perfect condition and operates flawlessly with typical Savage pinpoint accuracy.

Shoots a 1 minute 5 shot group, looks good with a excellent trigger.

Smooth action, accurate with cci maxi mag 40gr and hornady vmax 30gr, only two i have tried yet. Great gun for the price, like that savage keeps the left handed fellas in mind.

Great rifle! Savage did an excellent job in this relatively inexpensive varmit gun. It shoots just fine for me. I tried various ammo through it at 100 yards. I had the best grouping from the heavier 50gr Federal Game Shok JHP. I also bought one of these in 17HMR and what's really nice is the magazine is the same for both! Rifle is great and so is Bud's.........as usual.

I selected this rifle (Savage 93GL) because it was available with a wood stock and with a left-handed action. One gets tired of synthetic stocks after a while. Bud's service was good and I received the rifle in a timely manner and in good (new) condition. I mounted a Leupold scope on the rifle. I have only had a couple of range sessions with the gun, so far, but it has functioned perfectly. Yesterday, I sighted in the scope after which I fired a 5-shot group at 50 yards to see what the rifle could do. These shots were fired from a bench rest. I pulled one shot which became a flyer. That was my fault. (By the way, I love the accu-trigger on this rifle. It is crisp and breaks at a measured 2.5 lbs.) However, the other 4-shots went into a one-hole group that measured about 1/2 inch. Plenty good performance for a sporter weight barrel. Overall, I am pleased with this rifle and I feel that it represents good value for the money that I paid.

Purchased the Savage 93GL for my 13 year old son and he and I are well satisfied with the rifle. It fits him real good and the open sights are decent. Fairly nice wood and grain to the stock although the stock's finish not as glossy as photo shows. Waiting for weather to warm up to see how well it actually shoots. RS
