Not enough good words to say but Outstanding with my first experience dealing with Bud's Gun Shop. Other Dealers should make note of how to run a business Like Bud's. Very pleased in every respect. - My Savage 22LR model 28700 was more than i could hope for out of the box. I installed a Bushnell 4X12 AO Banner , bore sighted and was off for testing with six different brands of ammo. All tests were done at 35 yards on sandbag rests. All ammo tested shot 1/4 to 3/8 groups ( 10 shots each ) with the exception of Wolf Match Extra and CCI mMini Mag . I was able to place 9 out of 10 rounds in the same hole with Wolf and a slightly larger hole with the CCI. Next testing will be at 50 yrds.. and beyond. This little rifle is a true "Tack Driver" and a pleasure to shoot.

I purchased this rifle for 50yd target shooting from a bipod. 22 rifles are picky about their ammo for serious target shooting. Several brands of ammo were tried and it likes Wolf Match the best. My two friends purchased this rifle after shooting mine. I bought a second one to shoot from a bench rest. All 4 of these rifles will shoot inside of a 1/2 circle at 50yds on a calm day using the Wolf ammo. There may be an occassional shot outside of 1/2" due to shooter error or ammo/flyer that everyone experiences from time to time. This rifle is the best for the money and will shoot with rifles costing much more. The accu-trigger makes it even better. Don't over clean the barrel. Just a dry patch works fine.

5 starts across the board! Bud's was fantastic as always. Took the rifle to my local range the night I brought the gun home. Mounted a SIMMONS MASTER SERIES scope and started sighting-in. My first experience with the ACCU-TRIGGER was very nice. A great gun for the money.

this rifle is dead nuts accurate given the right ammo, however the magazine has a horrible tendency to shoot the rounds out the breech when reloading, calling savage to see what they 'll do about it. Again... a solid accurate rilfe.
