  Randall, the aluminum alloy frame has a melting point of 600 degrees, so unfortunately this does not pass the muster in Illinois.

• Q: Two models, Beretta 3032 Tomcat INOX Stainless J320500, and Beretta 3032 Tomcat S-S INX Stainless J320500CA. You would think the one with the “CA” at the end would be the California Complaint model, yet the CA/DOJ roster of approved handguns specifically says the Beretta 3032 Tomcat INOX Stainless is the approved model, no mention of the other one. Also, there must be a physical difference between the two models, what is it?

  I don't know the answer to your question, but I bought a CA model from Buds recently and it does not have a magazine disconnect. I am unaware of any difference other than model number.

• Q: What is the pull weight for single and double action

  Donald, Trigger pull on this SA/DA gun isn't great; the double action pull is too heavy for my 8-pound trigger scale to read. The single action pull weighs about 4 pounds, which isn't bad — except that you've got to take up a mile or so of trigger slack first, and a bunch of creep later, it will finally break
