Nothing much to say, besides that it is a 686. Tried and true. Accurate. High quality. I changed the grip to a traditional panel set with a grip adapter and completely changed the way it feels. I hate adjustable sights so I installed a fixed rear sight too.

I’m really pleased with my Smith & Wesson 686 Snub. It’s definitely on the hefty side, but that just makes it a pleasure to shoot, especially with .357 Magnums. I went with the 6-round model to keep it classy, and I’m super happy with the build quality – it’s a beauty to look at. It’s more of a range toy for me, but I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. The 6-round models have been discontinued, so it’s something collectors should definitely keep an eye on!

Awesome gun! Bud’s was great as usual! What can I say? It’s a Smith and Wesson 686. Very accurate and dead on out of the box. Love it!

I owned a 586 about 35 years ago and always regretted selling it. But now That I purchased this 686 I have finally redeemed myself. It is a beautiful gun with very comfortable grips, smooth trigger and solid lockup. Shipping was quick and I couldn’t be happier.

Very nice home defence revolver, a bit heavy at 35.5 ounces for daily carry but the extra weight makes it a pleasure to shoot. Even the heaviest of 357 magnum loads are easy to control due the revolvers weight, can't understand how anyone would says it kick like a mule, obviously doesn't shoot magnums much. I keep it by my bedside loaded with Hornady 125gr 357 magnum critical defence ammo and sleep soundly every night.

Awesome gun. I usually carry the 686 6" on me, but during the summer I wanted something smaller, more concealable. The gun is an awesome shooter, and doesn't have a big kick. My fiance even loves to shoot it. Smith and wesson is always a good choice!

It's a man stopper. What else can be said? It's a .357 with a short barrel, so it kicks like an angry mule, but the rubber grips do a fine job of taming the recoil. The sights are easy to see, and the trigger is much lighter than you'd expect. It's also beautiful to look at, which is a big selling point. My only gripe is that the trigger is completely untextured. My old S&W Model 19 has some lines running along the trigger which make it very easy to keep your finger exactly where you want it. This new 686 just has a very slick, plain steel trigger. It's not really a problem, just a personal preference I guess, but I'd still like to see them bring the texture back.
