• Q: Are these new 617's drilled and tapped for scope, red dot, etc bases, similar to the larger frames?

• Q: Are there alternitives to both rear and front sights? Something aftermarket with brighter colors to make it easier for my older eyes to pick up? Suggestions would be appreciated.

  Michel, Rich D (The post above 07/05/2017) is the same gentleman. S& W corrected the issue. [Cylinder was binding on opening and closing as well as advancing. Unable to fire had to send back to S&W for adjustment. Issue was taken care of it and I am happy with it. Very accurate.]

• Q: Your online advertised price was $666. When I go to your site, it is higher. Can I still get it at the advertised price? Also, it states no manual safety. Does that mean no internal lock?

  Yes it has an internal lock. And Buds prices fluctuate hourly sometimes, based on the market. But as Andrew stated, you may be able to request a matching of the original price that brought you to Buds site.
