First, let me start by stating that there were some minor payment issues on this transaction, but, these things happen on occasion when purchasing online. With that said I will also say that Buds customer service is second to none, they stepped up and fixed the issue ASAP. Now to the gun, all I can say is in a word, OUTSTANDING! I only put 100 rounds through it, but there were no ftf or fte issues at all. Accuracy was awesome, out of the 8 rounds per magazine I was grouping 5 or 6 shots into one ragged whole from 20 feet, and I consider myself an average shooter. Bought this gun through the 180 days to pay, this is a great option for those of us on a tight budget to get the guns we really want at an unbeatable price. All in all, another great deal from Buds, thanks guys, and as always I'll be back for more.

Very nice 1911. Not traditional by any means. Different firing pin block and external extractor. Otherwise its a damn fine version of the 1911. Very tight and well machined. Not a mark anywhere inside or out. You can certainly do a lot worse for 833.00. The two mags are extremely high quality also. I probably wouldnt buy another one because i am a traditionalist but i am very impressed with it so far.

Fired over 500 rounds- not a single problem yet. Love the fact that it's all stainless. The piece is nice and heavy, and doesn't use any of that Polymer material. Easy to field strip, a breeze to clean- a pure joy to play with this firearm. Buds has superior pricing and unmatched service. Highly recommend this 1911 45ACP to anyone that wants a quality, reliable, accurate, reasonably priced 1911model 45cal. The Smith&Wesson 1911 45ACP definitely gets two thumbs up from me!

I have had this firearm for about 6 months and have put about 1500 rounds through it. AWESOME! No jams, shoots through all types of .45ACP ammo, easy to clean and maintain (I treat mine like a baby), dead accurate at 30 - 50 yards, and very comfortable in the hands. Buds is excellent as always and will be doing business with them in the future.

bught from buds online store lay-away plan, exelent for my budget needs. tried this gun from a friend, fell i love with it, had to buy my own. shot 200+ rounds so far and no problem, no jams, highly recomend for a begginer since ive been into guns now for a year now. thanks buds. another happy customer.

Just thought I'd come back and update. Round count on the pistol has exceeded 25,000 rounds (yes that's thousand) with no excessive play, wear or parts breakage. Every part on the pistol is original except the grips and recoil spring. I have had 3 Failures To Feed, and all were with 19500 rnds on the original recoil spring. No one mentioned that you are supposed to change them, so I didn't. It came to my attention that they should be changed far more frequently, and since I put the new one in it has gone into battery every time. Not a single other malfunction and the gun shoots 2" groups off hand at 40ft at point of aim. Your mileage may vary.

Excellent weapon. The first trigger pull was a bullseye, and this was the first time I had shot in 10 years! Subsequent rounds were similar. No malfunctions. Hi quality high-end pistol. Great value. Bud's is the best to deal with. Never buy from anyone else, if you can help it.
