Love the Henry 22lr rifles , I have the golden boy that led me to purchase the pump both sights are remarkably accurate at 25 yards , installed skinner sights which really increased accuracy, glad I purchased the pump H00T3

This is one of my family's favorite rifles to shoot when we have get togethers. It's a tin can killing machine! Everyone loves it. It cycles 22lr, 22l and 22s. The action is very short and feels kinda stiff if you're used to a lever action, This is the ultimate FUN GUN in my opinion.

Beautiful rifle. I bought it to use around the house to shoot pests. I can shoot them with a low-power, low-noise round like the CCI segmented 22LR. It won't disturb the neighbors. I added a Vortex Crossfire II rimfire scope, picatinny rail and hammer extender. Those are two items you might want to consider.

Great gun a little hard to cycle but think it will get easier over time love it

Most fun shooting times are shooting 22 LR. Pump action. I wish other calibers were still commonly being made in pump action. You really can keep the site picture better. With a 22, it is bang, pew, pump and right at the spot of aim still. No recoil. Love the sites on Henry's vs Marlin or other styles.

Leave it to Henry to get everything right. Smooth action, fit and finish excellent, & shoots like a dream. Couldn’t get a better hand me down, they last generations.

Very happy with this rifle and brought it to the range for the first time this past weekend. The pump action was slightly stiff at first but I cleaned it and lubricated it with some Clenzoil and actuated the pump about 100 times then went to the range. The action has loosened up considerably and is very smooth. You do need to actuate it firmly and with authority but that is the way it's supposed to be. The .22 Long Rifle rounds functioned flawlessly. If it's going to jam or fail to eject, it's with the .22 short rounds due to the short casing length making it easier for the round to get stuck. A few of the .22 Short rounds did get caught in the action but i did get them out pretty easily with a needle nose plier. The jams with the .22 short were most likely caused by me not actuating the pump action firmly enough to eject the short casing. As far as accuracy, the buckhorn sights were pretty much dead on accurate right out of the box and i didn't need to adjust them at all. At 50 yards using 40 grain copper plated soft point long rifle off-the shelf ammo most of the 30 or 40 rounds were within a 3.5" inch circle and i'm not a great marksmen and haven't used buckhorn sights before. A scope would definitely help tighten that group up but I kind of like having just the open sights. I might also consider putting a Skinner peep sight in the future but for now the stock sights are fine. This is a .22 pump action rifle and is obviously not a precision varmint rifle but it is definitely reasonably accurate and a lot of fun to shoot. It's more accurate than I am so don't take my results as definitive. This is also a very nice looking rifle and a couple of folks at the range complimented on it. The wood stock and pump are somewhat darker than the picture on the website but they are very pleasing in appearance. The rifle arrived in perfect condition with absolutely no nicks, dings or an imperfections in the stock, pump, octagon barrel or any other part of the rifle. Great piece and am very satisfied the purchase.
