Exceptionally smooth right out of the box, fit and finish are excellent and it balances well. Recoil is barely noticeable even with heavy loads and it swings and points great! It's hard not to like this shotgun. I absolutely love this shotgun and would recommend it to anyone wanting to start out a younger hunter or someone who is recoil sensitive. I only wish a 24" accessory barrel was available for heavily wooded areas.
