The Ruger 22/45 Hunter rimfire pistol features an accurate sighting system featuring a precision adjustable rear, fixed front sight, and a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver style scope base adapters, included, for easy mounting of optics.
A comfortable, precision molded Zytel polymer grip frame with a serrated front strap a checkered grip panel areas and back strap for a great appearance and comfortable non slip hold. The internal cylindrical bolt construction ensure permanent alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving slide designs.
The manual safety positively locks the sear when applied. Also features an unobtrusive internal lock that locks the safety in the "safe" position and allows you to safely secure the firearm when not in use.
Also features a bull barrel, contoured ejection port, easy to grasp tapered bolt ears, a conveniently located push button magazine release.

Got gun from bud's no problem. Took it to the range and was a real pleasure to shoot. Have been renting a standard mark 3 before, so the 22/45 grip took a little getting used to, plus this gun seemed lighter due to the polymer grips. Shoots the el cheapo ammo with no problems (blazer .22lr). A lot of fun at the range.

Does Ruger really make any pistols that are not quality. This is a beautiful made weapon. Grips fit tight, interchanable front optics are really nice. Comes with 2 clips, a kick to shoot feels like 45 if your eyes are closed, but I can shoot all day for less then $10, but far less then a box of 45acp.
