GARBAGE!!!!!!!
Purchased two of these and both had to be sent in to Taurus after the first time to the range, because the Barnes Vortex 454 ammo brass was getting stuck in the cylinder. I got them back 2-3months later and they still did the same thing, I had to send them back for a second time... This time they said one will be replaced with a new one. The other the cylinder was replaced and sent back to me... still same problem with new cylinder. 4 months later my replacement is on back order with no ETA.
Taurus Customer service is BAD
After almost a year I’ve only had my revolvers for a few days at a time.
DO NOT BUY!!!
unless you are only planning on using 45LC ammo

ALL I can say about his revolver is WOW!!! It handles great, shoots great, etc, etc!
I fired a few rounds thru it right out of the box with absolutely no issues. For those concerned about the kick...My .44Mag Super BlackHawk kicks harder than this thing. The ported barrel takes most of that away.
I know some guys had issues with the ammo getting stuck....believe me it is the brand of ammo you are using, not the gun.
And as always,Buds is the best at what they do.

Recently bought the Raging Bull 454 because I liked the looks. I liked the top rib reminiscent of the colt pythons and the heavy lug barrel. The good points, nice grip, nice finish, no muzzle lift when firing. The bad, the front sight is hard to see against a target, should have a fiber optic. Don't care for the multiple cylinder release buttons, they should have just one like most other guns. Worst point, the cylinder seized after just three shots. Upon close inspection I've determined that there is not enough gap between the bullet case at the primer end and the metal landing of the cylinder where the cylinder rotator teeth are cut. This lack of gap prevents some bullets from seating into the cylinder completely then they become jammed against the frame when the cylinder rotates. I will be sending the Raging Bull back to Taurus to address this condition. Sorry to say this cylinder seizing condition is a major downer because I liked the gun for the most part but the engineers need to take a closer look at the cylinder design.

Great experience with Bucks Gun Shop! I'm happy with the Raging Bull. Great feel, grip and balance. I didn't read close enough, as I thought it was polished stainless steel, not matte. A bummer, but not a deal breaker. Happy you can shoot 45 long colt. As the .454 casull isn't available everywhere and its pricey.

Just purchased this from Buds great gun and great service A++. I've already ran 150rds through mine with no problems was a little hard extracting Hornandy and Magtech at first but I think it just needed a good cleaning being new.

Great gun. First Taurus I've owned and I am very pleased. I have heard nothing but bad reviews about Taurus but to this point I can't complain. Awesome gun to shoot. First purchase with buds and I have since purchased more guns from this site. Great prices.

This gun is massive and constructed very well, with an extremely smooth trigger pull as well as very close tolerance for the cylinder lockup, excellent workmanship, not a blemish on it! I’ve shot 5 boxes of Hornady 240 gr XTP Mag and 5 boxes of the 300 gr XTP Mag through it without any issues! Bud’s, as always, was Great, processing and shipping was flawless and fast!

Great looking gun. Came in perfect condition. Took it to the gun range and put in 20 rounds. Used the Winchester Super X 250 grain and recoil was not bad at all. Good shooting gun. Very well built. Would recommend to anyone.

Mike, Taurus and B-Square made scope mounts for this model up to 2015. Can still find them on e-bay or auction sites for about $200. Otherwise have to have do most affordable option is to get a gunsmith to drill and tap a few holes into the non structural vent rib so you can mount a standard weaver mount base.
