I have owned several S&W revolvers over the past 35 years. Some are the classic older models that I shoot periodically, some are the newer models like this that I compete with. The TRR8 is an outstanding revolver. The fit and finish is excellent. It is very tight and accurate (I have a Vortex Defender XL red dot on it). I don't just plink with this revolver, I run it fast. It is my first scandium frame revolver. The weight and balance is perfect for speed out of the holster and target transitions.

Gun is incredibly accurate. 8 round capacity with tactical rails makes this revolver very versatile. I put a holosun green dot sight on it with a green laser flashlight as well. Love it as a home defense nightstand gun. Buds is always great every time. I've made over 10 firearm purchases with buds each time is a great experience.

This is a new caliber for me, and at sometime I hope to add a.357 Marlin as its companion. This is also my first S&W. There are not enough “E’s” in sweeeeeet to explain how perfectly this revolver fits me. The fit and finish is top notch. The trigger pull can only be described as buttery, both single and double. The balance is exceptional. This new partner of mine may not be your pretty stainless and walnut “super model”. But, She is a fine piece of machinery that I can count on for any dance we might get into. Now only if I can find some.357 ammo. Come on “Team Buds” me and my dancing partner need something to eat!
