Very nice gun! I was impressed from the first shot, the ported barrel is a nice feature that out performed my expectations. I high recommed this gun if you are looking for a quality gun at a great price.

Great gun and extremely accurate! Be sure to check the cylinder chambers for a rifled appearance at the throat. I didn't notice it when I picked it up at my FFL. This caused the shell casings not to extract. I shipped it back to Taurus and they polished the chambers and I had it back within 3 weeks . It has performed flawlessly since. Also the stock grip was a little thin in my opinion but I put a Hogue grip on and it feels much better. Also if you buy it be prepared to have to shoot it on the rifle range. I've been told twice to move off of the indoor pistol range due to the barrel length lol. I'm not joking people. If I had to do over I would have gotten the 6 inch barrel instead due to this and plus the gun is a bit heavy but very manageable. This gun is an eye catcher and draws a crowd though! I've got mine polished to almost a nickel plate appearance and it looks very sharp! Also I'd like to clear something up on a review I did on the Hogue grip on this website.The instructions for installing the grip are vague but I contacted Hogue and the told me what I had to do and the grip fits perfectly now. I just wanted to set the record straight and this site will not let you write more than one review and you can't edit your review once it's posted.

Luuvv this Gun. put about 250 rounds through it so far, can not ask for a better shooting gun.. shooting off a bag rest, 100 yrd, busting 2 litre bottles open sight. as for my experince with Buds, AWSOME!! Ive bought guns online them a few times out right and with the layaway program, NO ISSUES at all.. I like it that thier retail store is just half an hour drive from my House. My next Gun, the SW 500 mag. will come from Buds..

Great gun for the price. The kick is far lest than you might imagine for a .44. The has a nice, smooth pull; it's very sensitive with the hammer back too. I have no complaints at all with it so far and would highly recommend it if you're looking for something high caliber without spending a lot of money.

im in love with my taurus 44 mag every body at the range had to fire it im going hunting in alaska in april and i whould not go with any outher fire arm at all this will drop a brown bear with no problum at all. steve d.
