Don't do reviews often, so bear with me. First off ... I love this revolver. I've fired over 100 rounds through it and, sore arms aside, have had zero problems with it. The timing and cylinder lock-up is solid and even DA the trigger's pretty good in my opinion. At 25 yards I'm getting roughly two-inch groups, at 50 it's more like 6 or 7 inches, but that's me not the revolver. The ported, heavy barrel and rubber grips really helps to keep the recoil controllable, but it's still a .44 Magnum. I like the rubber cover for the rear sight, it really helps to keep the revolver zeroed. I also bought a set of snap-caps for dry firing; it helps because I hate to pull the trigger on an empty chamber. Note, it is kind of heavy for a handgun (duh) and NOT designed for EDC so my standard "one cylinder/magazine off-hand" shooting style is off the table, again that's me, not the revolver. The dual release for the cylinder takes some getting used to, but that's to be expected. But since rapid reloads aren't going to be an issue it's not a problem. One, not negative, but word of warning ... this revolver will take a lot of cleaning, the ports on the barrel especially (I'm a neat freak when it comes to firearms). Side Note: Buds went out of their way to keep me informed during the processing/shipping process ... it puts my mind at ease knowing I haven't been forgotten.

I finally got to shoot this beast a little just over 50 rounds. It's big hefty and feels very well built. The double latch cylinder release takes a bit to get use to. Single action very good double action could use a little work. Probably my only complaint would be the sights. Huge rear notch and the front sight is slim and the same color. Hard to pick up the front sight when shooting and with the huge rear slot a lot of room for error. Trying a little glow paint on the front. and looking into an upgraded rear. All and all great big thunder hand cannon fun to shoot should drop a few pigs with no problem may even try it on a deer after i figure out the sight issue.

Not impressed with this Firearm. When I received this revolver i found Rust on the barrel where raging Bull is engraved and I having issues with the cylinder rotating due to a bad extractor spring. I also have my doubts about the extractor itself as it is very sharp and doesn't look like it's in the best condition. Already Reached out to Taurus support and still waiting for response to outline issues.

Great solid well built gun! Very accurate out of the box. Even with full blown magnum rounds the recoil is very minimal. Bud's very fast delivery as usual.
