• Q: Is this a pencil barrel? How many rounds before the barrel gets hot?

  Richard, this rifle has an 18.5" Cold Hammer Forged Medium Contour Barrel Sir. Being a Bolt gun, you are not likely to get into detrimental heat buildup with this configuration. That being said, it would take many, many back to back magazines of firing drills to over heat the barrel.

• Q: does this really have a fluted barrel ? like one review stated???? dont look like it??

  Javier, No fluted barrel on this rifle. I saw the review also. No idea where it came from. but it might be for different product. I've had that happen before. Don't know how but a review went to different product.

• Q: The model pictured here seems be to the older version, with the barrel band underneath the rear sight and regular front sight as opposed to the newer version listed in CZ's catalog with the updated 2-dot rear sight and fiber-optic front post. Which version is delivered after purchase?

  Abel, this is the latest model offered by CZ, Buds is using the older stock photo in this listing.

  If you live in in Kentucky or a contiguous state meaning a state the touches Kentucky, in most cases you can pick the rifle up in person. If the above is true you can select Buds as your preferred FFL. If you live in a non-contiguous state you must have it shipped to a FFL in your state. After it is received at your FFL of choice your home state laws and all applicable federal laws apply such as NICS check and all paperwork required by law. The receiving FFL will likely require a fee for the transfer. Buds FFL finder is a great tool it searches and finds dealers near you based on your zip code and in many cases posts last reported transfer fee cost. They have a list of preferred FFL's also that will accept any transfer from Buds. It takes the hassle out of finding and FFL on your own.
