Colt Match Target Competition HBAR Semi-Automatic Rifle, .223 Remington, 20" Heavy Barrel, 9 Rounds, Fixed Compensator.

While the Colt name is virtually synonymous with handguns, Sam Colt's initial revolvers off the assembly line were longarms. Manufactured with a rifle stock and a 32" barrel, it featured an eight-shot cylinder that the operator rotated by using a ring lever located in front of the frame. Later, Colt introduced one of the first practical slide action rifles. Then, in 1963, the AR-15 and M16 5.56mm automatic rifles "made Colts the small-arms sensation of modern warfare." Their unmatched accuracy, performance, and durability are available in their direct descendent, the Colt semiautomatic-only, sporting rifles. They're ideal for hunting, plinking and competition shooting.

Excellent Weapon, Great Price, Everyone that has shot it says they are going to get one !!! Brings back memories of my issued weapon in 1974, which I qualified EXPERT with !!! Can't go wrong with a COLT !!!

I've put 3,000 rounds through it without any problems - not one jam, FTF, or FTE. I broke it down and throughly cleaned and lubed it before I shot it, and have cleaned it every 1,000 rounds since. It reminds me of my issued weapon back in the Army in the 70's. It brings a smile to everyones face when I see how quickly I can empty a 30 round magazine out of it. EVERYONE that has shot it says it's on thier list of guns to get, and most say it's #1. Excellent Weapon, Buds was Great as usual also. ************************************************************-
