I use this load in my Mossberg 835 with a Carlsons black cloud full choke At 40 yds I could get 9 pellets inside of 6 inches WOW

Using a modified choke out of my Remington 870 it put all 12 pellets within a 10 inch circle at 50 yards, the shot cup was 5 feet in front of the target. I would say that’s very good! I will be buying much more of this ammo.

This shot shell patterns extremely well. It patterns best in a cylinder bore as modified and full chokes strip the shot cup away from the shot much quicker than cylinder chokes. Some shooting buddies and I were patterning all sorts of 00 Buck loads getting ready for venison sausage season and Federal loads with Flight Control were the clear "Top Dogs". Cheers!

This product is GREAT for home defense. The place I hang my hat has few neighbors so double ought is fine. I do not recommend for those in apartments, condos, or with close neighbor. Will go right out a window or door. Every round fired clean, no stove pipes or misfires
Recommend #7 bird shot for close quarter defense (G-d) forbid you have to use a shotgun to defend.

The 3" Federal Flight-Control 00 buckshot has 15 pellets. In my 20" barrel with a Modified Choke at 40 yds, they patterned about the same as the Fed 2 3/4" 00 in Flight-Control. I would have to say at that distance, the 9 pellets 2 3/4" grouped just a tad bit tighter inside a 18" circle. The 3" 12 pellets of 00 buckshot still would have done the job on any deer at 40 yds, just a little bit looser on the pattern. Yes, I would recommend this product. Wish Federal would make the Flight-Control in 3" or 3 1/2" 000 Buckshot with 10 pellets & 12 pellets. Deer Man Out
