An American classic! I understand why this gun is so popular, it just works and isn't fussy. Well engineered. I've pumped some of the cheapest ammo I could find (before CA got so fussy about shipping ammunition) and it never jams. The most reliable gun I can recall every using. Super tight groupings at 10 yards, clean groupings at 25 yards. Sights are easy to see and track. With 147 gr it has a significant kick and report but it still groups well. 125 gr you can shoot all day and it just keeps performing. Buy extra magazines, I've gone through a few of the after market ones, they don't hold up well. My original factory magazine still seems to work but the spring is getting soft and I believe it's time to replace that as well.

The gun arrived promptly at my LGS in perfect condition. It’s really a nice shooter and I have nothing bad to say about it very reliable and will get the job done.

Was planning to buy the 2.0 but Bud's had such a great deal on the original version I decided to give it a try. I have only put a box and a half of ammo (the cheap metal case stuff) through the gun so far but the gun has functioned flawlessly. I heard a lot of bad press on the original triggers, the trigger pull is heavy for my liking at about 7.5 pounds. I am an occasional shooter (aka, not an expert shot) but the trigger did not seem to affect my shooting. I put 35 rounds into a 3.5 inch group at 10 yards my second time out with the gun. So, would I buy it if I knew then what I know now?......Absolutely.

Very satisfied with with this purchase buds service was great as usual these are not the 2.0 M&Ps but for the $299 price you could do many up grades (17 round mags will fit and the mag safety can be removed easily if desired). very satisfied hope they come back on sale again!

This transaction was flawless, just like the other nine firearms I have purchased from Bud's in less than two years. Ordered on Tuesday night and delivered following Monday. My FFL could not believe the price I paid ($299) as a Team Bud member. With Team Bud and my Qualified Professional status, I have been extremely pleased with all my purchases. I tell everyone about Bud's. The M&P was new in the box, as advertised, and had everything. Buying from Bud's is like eating potato chips. Once you start, you can't stop. BTW, my wife took the gun. She said it is one of the few that fits her hand with the small backstrap. So, I'm back on the hunt for bargains.

Product arrived promptly and described, only thing I'll have to do is give it a slight thorough cleaning as it looks like it's been in the case for a while. Other than that there's absolutely nothing else wrong.

I have researched for quite a while before purchasing this gun and it is up to my expectations 100%. I have shot about 90 rounds, no problem at all. One thing less than satisfactory is that Buds used 10 business days to send the gun out to my transferring FFL, which is kind of slow for an item that was marked as "In stock". I guess this might be a small mishap for this order only, wish it will not happen for my next order.
