The PF-9 retains the best features from our P-11 and P-3AT pistols combined into the flattest and lightest single stack 9mm configuration ever made. The barrel, locking system, slide stop, assembly pin, front sight, recoil springs and guide rod are adapted from the P-11. The PF-9 is nearly identical to the P-11 in length and height and shares the same exterior controls. The shorter trigger system with integral hammer block and the extraction system are adapted from the P-3AT. Just like the P-11, the PF-9 will accept +P ammunition, however, not with continuous use.

The rear sight is a new design and is adjustable for windage with the supplied allen wrench as well as for elevation with the use of shims (not included). The included 7 round rectangular magazine is supplied with a finger extension base plate and numbered holes. The under barrel accessory rail shares the dimensions of the MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rail although there is only one locking notch in the forward position.

Great, when I got it, there was fierce competition in getting conceal tools at the time, they were difficult to get. I had to sell it because of moving to a place where gun rights were not friendly in 2010. That changed in 2019. Now I can get my tools back slowly but surely. Lots have changed, and better tools are available. This was a defense tool, but some people got into the habit of believing this was a range tool. No way in shape or form. Better to have something than nothing. I see they are not making anymore. Oh well!!!!

Buds shipped quick, delivered in 2-days! Had issue with firearm and had to ship to manufacture for repair. At times Trigger would depress fully without hammer strike. Kel Tec sent shipping label and will repair at no cost. Shot 80 rounds through firearm with no jamming issues.

Bud’s was great to deal with as always. However, when I took the pistol out to fire it a few days after the purchase, it exhibited light primer strikes with various types of ammo and would only fire intermittently. This was after cleaning and lubing it spec. And, yes, I allowed the trigger to return fully forward between shots. So, back to Kel-Tec. Hopefully the company can fix it. The pistol shot amazingly well when it fired.

i like a pocket gun and this is a little large. wish i had bought the 380, but the gun does shoot good wit no problems jamming.

Bought this little pistol as an alternative to my kel tec P3AT. I still prefer the smaller keltec for pocket carry as this one feels a tad awkward in my front pocket. IWB carry seems best so far. The pistol itself shoots better than I anticipated. More accurate than I thought it would be and the recoil isn't bad at all. I used a mixed bag of 9mm I bought on a Black Friday deal a while back to test her out and I didn't have a single malfunction of any kind in 300 rounds. I changed to the xm9001 ammo I will carry and practice with and it gobbled that up just fine too. If you're in the market for a very concealable 9mm this one is a winner in my book.

  • Q: Is it easy enough to rack for a woman? Also how hard is recoil?

    Recoil on shorter barrels is usually a bit snappier, so muzzle rise and staying on target could be an issue, if she's new to shooting id start out with at least a 4" barrel to develope good fundamentals before going with a snappy compact.
    I have no experience with this particular pistol but have taught my mom 2 of my sisters and an ex girlfriend how to shoot, and is always easier with a full size or at very least a mid size
