The inletting is about 98 to 99% done so extensive skill level is not required. However because of this, the wood to metal fit suffers a little. Still the quality of this gun is very high. I finished the barrel/steel hardware using Laurel Mountain Forge barrel brown. I used boiled linseed oil for the stock. I love the way the rifle came out.
As for accuracy, I tapped the sites on the barrel to where I thought would be center. I was surprised when I hit a dinner size plate at 100 yards on the first shot. Very pleased with this rifle and with Buds.
