I fire slugs through it at the range and it’s about the most accurate non-rifle gun that I own. It kicks like a 12 gauge should but the cushy butt stock makes it nice. Highly recommend 👌

The Mossberg 500 SP is a great home defense shotgun. This is my first shotgun and my second purchase through Bud's using their layaway option. I have now owned this shotgun for over 3 years and it has worked flawless. It has eaten up every type of ammunition I have fed it including Winchester and Federal birdshot, 00 Buck and Magnum Buckshot. The 6 position tactical stock is a nice feature that allows the shotgun to be made longer or shorter for different purposes. I am pleased as always with Bud's first class service and Mossberg's performance. Great shotgun and great price.
