I purchased this firearm through Bud's 90 day layaway and I must say their customer service is great. Also, the sales reps that work at the retail counter are very good too. They are most helpful. I had Bud's install night sights on this Kimber and they did an outstanding job at a reasonable price too. I have not been to the range yet but I know it should be a good shooter like my other Kimber. Thanks to all the sales reps at Bud's.

Buds Gun Shop is awesome as always. This was my second purchase from Buds Guns and my first 1911. I wanted a Kimber for years and finally bought one. Best price anywhere. I'v owned the Pro Carry 2 HD for two weeks now. Put 600 rounds of FMJ 230gr ball ammo from different manufacturers and not one single problem or failure. Extremely accurate. Would by from Kimber and Buds any day of the week. Kimber makes an amazing product that you wont be disappointed in.

This is a very nice piece, and it functions like a Kimber should. I did however purchase two Wilson Combat mags for it because the Kimber mag is junk, and a Wilson Combat flat spring and guiderod kit to eliminate the use of a wire to break it down. I did notice the empty case shells would eject right on my head and to correct this I installed a Wilson Combat ejector also and now the shells go 10ft to my right rear. Kimber is a very nice weapon but adding a few special parts upgrades it to a flawless weapon you can count on.
