The Kimber Custom sets the performance standard for production 1911 pistols. Models are offered with a choice of fixed, adjustable or night sights, and in matte or polished finishes. Both carbon steel and stainless steel versions are available. Common features include the Kimber Firing Pin Safety,™ designated by “II” in the model name, along with rounded and blended edges for comfortable carry. Barrels, barrel bushings, chambers and triggers are all machined to exacting match grade dimensions. Ejection ports are lowered and flared, and sights are mounted in dovetails machined into the slide. Chamberings include .45 ACP, 9 mm, 10 mm and 38 Super.

Picked up this 1911 for my wife who wanted a 1911 but thought a 45 would be a bit much. The weapons craftsmanship is beautiful. Every time she takes it out at the range she gets a comment on how nice it is. Luckily it fires just the same, the balance while firing is awesome. Very little recoil with the weight and caliber of the weapon. Great shooter I would recommend to anyone considering this weapon. Again Buds was flawless and thank you again for making it so easy for us shooters to find what we want "Thank You BUDS"

I took this out to the range today and it performed flawlessly. It functioned great. No failures of any kind. I put 7 of 10 on a 6" target at 10 yards with the first mag. It operates and disassembles exactly like my Kimber ii. With some break-in and a bit of sight adjustment this will be a real tack hammer. Buds was super. My pistol was in Ca. within 48 hours. It handled fmj and hollowpoints equally well. The stainless finish is flawless and drew many comments at the range. These are hard to find. I put it on Bud's watchlist and got an email within 2 weeks. kimber told me 10-12 months. Bud's and Kimber are both top notch.

Kimber always has a great fit and finish givng a look and feel of a quality sidearm. This particular weapon had to be returned as out of the box it failed to extract spent casings. It seems to be working now upon return from factory with "extractor adjustments" having been made. I have used Bud's since this order and will again. I have always had an overall good experience with price and service.

I purchased this gun back in Nov.2011I have since put 150 rds of CCI fmj and 50 rds FAE fmj through this weapon with no problems. Gun was totally reliable and accurate. thank you Bud
