Raise your sights. Gold Match and Team Match pistols share many features with the Custom family, but take quality to the extreme. They are the apex of production 1911 performance. These pistols are the choice of shooters who will not settle for anything less than the best.

The Gold Match II and Stainless Gold Match II are the finest production pistols offered by Kimber. Both feature a stainless steel match grade barrel that is machined oversized and then fitted by hand in the Custom Shop for accuracy. All flat surfaces are polished to a high shine that contrasts satin over the curves. The Team Match II is an “all go” version of the Stainless Gold Match, designed specifically for the USA Shooting Rapid Fire Pistol Team to use in action shooting competitions at national and international levels. Unique Team Match II features include 30 lines per inch front strap checkering and extended magazine well.

scratchy trigger. too much trigger pull. slide locks back as it should on empty magazine, but the slide release locks up. have to drop the magazine first. there is a mechanical hitch in the grip safety with a normal hold. the grip safety jumps as you press it forward to engage. the safety requires an abnormally strong grip to engage. enough to pull the weapon off target. nothing feels smooth about the action. feels gritty and unfinished. will send it back to factory. another one at a local shop did not have these issues. so do not buy unless you can get your hands on it first. for the money-bad!!!

Recently purchased this from Bud's and received it in a few days. This pistol is the best thing I have ever shot with! I own a Springfield XDM 9 in a 4.5" barrel, a Springfield XDM 45 bitone in a 4.5" barrel, and a Sig Sauer P226 Elite Stainless in a .40 cal. By far, this is the most accurate shooting pistol I own! I don't know if it's the pistol itself or the fact that it's a 1911 with a crisp light trigger but I am sold! This is the 3rd purchase I've made through Bud's and have had excellent experiences with them. I previously purchased a Mossberg 590 A1 and a Sig 516 Patrol rifle in the recent past with no issues. I would have purchased my newest Kimber Ultra CDP II LG from them if they had it in stock. Unfortunately, they didn't and I couldn't wait to get my hands on one.

Firearm had a good balanced feel in hand. It was accurate at the range, outshooting several of my buddies. Thumb safety was defective as it flopped up and down with every shot causing firearm to be a single shot.
