I can't really say much about this weapon, a true piece of craftsmanship produced by Remington Arms. I never had the pleasure of really finding out how accurate this weapon was or could have been, I unfortunately had events in my family that had me sell the firearm. The stock, the bolt-action, the trigger system, everything about this weapon was superb. If there was only one regret, or bad remark towards Remington and that is, I would wish by some miracle that they would continue the production of these great rifles. Great work, Remington, awesome weapon, at least I can say I owned one when I did.

Your research on your new rifle is done if your reading this...Buy this rifle! It will hold 1/4 MOA if you can stop your heart and breathing... this is a rifle that you trust in precision. 1st deer: 330yds 2nd deer: 424yds It’s on the heavy side, but worth it’s weight in gold when it comes to the shot that takes down the big one. This rifle deserves a big scope! No buyers remorse, just the thought of having a pure/true instrument of precision.

This product is secure jr to none. Mounted a vortex scope and rings. At 100 yds it's about 1/4". At 200 yds it shoots about 1/2 groups. Very capable rifle for the money!!!!

The rifle looks great! Haven't had the chance to take it to the range yet, but I will update my review as soon as I do. Went over the rifle with a fine-tooth comb and can't find anything wrong with it. Cleaned and oiled everything. It is on the heavy side for a hunting rifle, but I'm used to carrying much more weight in Iraq and Afghanistan so I'm not worrying about it. One issue I had is that it doesn't come with any type of case. I know that's not a super important item and most of us will just get a different one we like better anyway, but it unexpected and surprised me. The price was excellent as usual, but shipping took quite a long time. I have ordered many firearms from Buds before and once the item was paid in full it never took more than 2 days to get the rifle shipped out, but this time it took over a week. This won't stop me from ordering from Buds in the future, but I am a little disappointed. I hope they don't lose that great customer service they are known for. Keep it tight Team Buds and I look forward to more business in the future.

When I finally saw this 700 Police in .300 win mag in stock, I bought it right away. Once I recieved the rifle, I took it straight to the range, and was excited to shoot it. However, after I shot the very first round, it would not eject from the chamber. And this happened almost every round. So, I switched to a different ammo, and the exact same thing happened. Every two or three rounds, the extractor on the bolt would not grip the brass well enough, and the brass would get stuck in the chamber. I ended up trying a 3rd type of ammo with the same results. The extractor on the bolt is garbage and failed to eject the brass 85% of the time. Thats pretty darn horrible in my book! I know magnum calibers inheriently have issues with normal extractors, but come on...failing to extract 85% of the time...thats basically not even working at all. I'll end up having to get several hundred dollars worth of work done to it just to make the rifle operational, which is pretty redicilous considering a brand new rifle is susposto work right from the start. Remington did a very bad job with this firearm. So now i've got a very unreliable rifle that you could NEVER trust in a tactical, combat, or life & death situation, It was a waste of a thousand bucks. From now on I will never buy a mangum caliber rifle again, will stick to .308.

ill make this short and sweet. This gun has the most utilized action in the world combned with hair splitting accuracy and toughness. I cant actually believe this gun popped up for sale and i feel like i got a gun that will be in my family for generations to come. If yor looking for the best bolt action tactical sniper rifle in the world then get it for sure, when i got it the gun shop i had it shipped to offered a grand cash on the spot. I will out shoot and outlast any bolt rifle out here simply put. If your lucky enough to get a oppertunity to get one and you miss it you will regret it

Searched high and low for good price on a Springfield XDm 3.

This is a flat out fantastic rifle. It will out shoot most shooters everyday of the week. put a little work into it and it'll really reach out and touch somebody. My only complaint is that the knob is a little small, so shooting prone and cycling the bolt is an issue for me. I replaced the knob with a Badger, and while it was in the shop added an APA Fat Bastard Brake because the Kevlar stock keeps the weight down which my handloads wear on my shoulder after shooting all day. Couldn't ask for more from a factory rifle under $1k.

THE 700P IN 300 WIN MAG IS A GREAT FOUNDATION FOR LONG RANGE SHOOTING. I REPLACED THE HS STOCK WITH A AICS STOCK, THE RIFLE LOOKS OUTSTANDING. TOPPED IT OFF WITH A NIGHT FORCE 5.5-22X59 NXS NPR2 SCOPE. AND NIGHT FORCE MEDIUM RINGS WITH A 20 MOA NIGHT FORCE BASE. CHANGED THE TRIGGER TO A JEWEL AND ADJUSTED TO A CRISP 2.5 POUNDS. NOW SINCE THE BARREL IS STOCK AND THE BOLT AND ACTION HAVE NOT BEEN BLUE PRINTED AND SQUARED. THE RIFLE WILL REACH 1500 YARDS AND LAND CENTER ON TORSO SIZED STEAL TARGETS. AFTER I SHOOT THIS BARREL OUT A KRIEGER BARREL WILL BE IN ORDER THEN I'LL BE IN A DIFFERENT CLASS, MAYBE 1900+ WITH THE A-MAX 208 BULLETS..I MUST SAY BUDS HAS THE BEST PRICE ON THE NET PERIOD..
