An excellent gun.....so far I have put over 1,000 rounds of relatively cheap ammo through it and it cycles and fires them easily. NOT ONE MISFEED YET!!! So far I have sighted it in to 100 yards and even with the cheap ammo it shoots consistent 1 inch groups. VERY HAPPY. for an entry level AR it great ! No failures . No recoil .Compared to other higher priced rifles great deal. Lot of Fun. Fast easy delivery . And many purchases from Buds , no issues at all.

Purchased this rifle in 2010 and have never had a single mis-fire or a failure to chamber. I also purchased the doublestar metal magazines and they have worked perfectly as well. Fabulous weapon that is highly accurate.

Love the weapon, I have had it for over a year now and couldn't be happier. Fired over 1K rounds through it without a single problem. I would recommend this gun to anyone.

This AR is ok, was not chrome-lined and has a 1/9 twist, so don't fire anything above 62gr .223 ammo or your accuracy will decrease some. Does not like TulAmmo or any other steel casings. I had to clear jams from steel casings a few times. So brass only. But this weapon could be better but I presume this is DS's entry level AR.

I bought my DSC about 3 months ago. I am very pleased with the cosmetics, tolerences, and overall performance of the AR. I have put around 400 rounds through it and has never attempted to jam or malfunction in any way. I have sent 30 rounds through fast as you can pull the trigger and I have sent rounds through every 3 seconds apart, it has performed beyond my expectations. Thanks Double Star for an outstanding product.

Amazing gun. Finally took it out and put 70 rounds down it no problems at all. As accurate as you want, and fit and finish are wonderful. Don't hesistate you won't be disappointed!

Took the DoubleStar out to the range today. 100 rounds of Tulammo, and only one FTE. It ate all the Federal 5.56 just fine of course. Very nice fit and finish. It handled nicely and shot smoothly.

Another five star review! Received the rifle in four days. Ordered on Monday morning and picked it up from my FFL on Thursday afternoon. The rifle came oiled and ready. I am very impressed with the finish of the rifle. It comes with one 30 rd metal magazine. It is wrapped in a very thick plastic bag inside two layers of a cardboard box to ship. The actual box from the manufacturer is not shown through shipping. It is hidden by the outer shipping box (way to go Bud's!). Slapped a couple Magpul Pmags in it. Took them and worked like a charm. I did have one FTE (failure to extract) on my very first magazine. Not a big deal (steel cased ammo, the rifle doesn't like!) it fed everything brass round I put in it! I love the fact that it is a different brand than the usual you see everywhere. Buy this rifle!!!!
