It doesn't get much better than the 22LR Crickett Chipmunk! My daughter was interested in target shooting but very apprehensive to my military-surplus firearms. The Crickett Chipmunk is the PERFECT first firearm for a new shooter. Because each bullet is loaded individually, I am able to emphasize situational awareness at the range. Further, the fact that the firearm does not automatically cock when loading (i.e. you HAVE to pull the bolt back before firing) allows me to make sure safety is at the forefront. Finally, it's a 22LR and you're only looking at .06 a round! If you're looking for an extremely accurate, fun shooter right out of the box - this is it!

Welllll im impressed. The chipmuck hunter is a blast and accurate. Shot the pistol for the first time yesterday. Of course zero recoil. I purchased the pistol with walnut furniture & stainless steel bolt and bbl. The fit and quality for this pistol exceeded my expectation. The bolt action is smooth and trigger pull is nice. My wife wants one now. I fired cci cb shorts and cci 22lr quiet rounds and the shorts were about like a pellet rifle sound. The 22lr noise was about the same as shooting an old fashion toy cap gun as per noise. Great varmit and snake pistol if you have nosey neighbirs and want to eliminate some pests around the home.

For the money this is a very accurate pistol. Is as accurate as my Browning Buckmark Varmint. Action could be a little smoother but for the money just fine. I really like the high Vis fiber sights. Trigger seemed heavier than advertised but seems to be getting better with time. Would recommend giving this gun a try if you are considering it.

I just happened to see a similar pistol on another site and went to Bud’s to see what they had. Good thing I did. Superior selection at the best price I could find, anywhere. This is a way-fun little pistol. 10.5” stainless, fluted barrel, nice fiber optic sights, nice walnut stock, decent trigger, drilled for a scope mount and a good, inexpensive platform to mess with. I reshaped the grip to better fit my hand, refinished the stocks, added a small rail to the fore end to mount a bipod and the scope mount is on its way. In short, a fun pistol from a great dealer!
