I waited for 5 years to find this particular rifle. I am so glad I waited! Balance is great, accuracy was .7" after 20 shot break in, and .3" groups of 5 after adding muzzle break. Looking for it to get better after a few hundred rounds. Stock is stiff and doesn't contact barrel on bipod, trigger is light with no creep, came at 4.0 pounds factory. Tactical style bolt handle is easy to work with gloves, safety is as well. Tried the Remington TAC AAC, and the Ruger M77 Tactical, this is the one you're looking for. Mounted the Bushnell Yardage Pro 4-12x42mm laser range finder scope with bullet drop compensation turrets on a two-piece, weaver style rail at 20MOA. NO REGRETS!

I had 4 other savages... (24" barrel and 26" barell) I have never had a problem with them. I bought this one. Took it to the range fired 8 bullets and the next thing i know action brakes on me. fire pin and extractor... I shot Factory ammo 168 grain. I am trying to get hold of SAVAGE and see if they can fix this problem. If they will fix it I will write another feedback. Negative or Positive. Depends on their Customer Seriice. For now my Feedback will stay Negative because of their marksmanship quality.

Very accurate rifle, and the Accustock isn't bad at all. If Savage makes another run of these, I'll get another one.
