Gotta say that I'm not impressed. I've heard how great Kimbers are, but they must have bought a different gun. First, it showed barrel rust within two weeks. I hadn't even shot it yet and my safe has a dehumidifier in it. There are several other guns in there with not a drop of rust. It also jammed 50% of the time. I use the same ammo in my other .45's and have never had a jam before or since. I have a guy that really wants to buy it, because like I he has heard the Kimber reputation. My conscience won't let me do it even though I have told him what my experience has been and he still wants to buy it.

Not only a great looking and feeling weapon but smooth. Can't seem to fire it enough. And as always Buds is great to deal with.

Amazing! I have had this kimber for 2 years now and it has been perfect. If you call crimson trace, they will send you free batteries every year for life! I don't use the laser grips very often but its good to have. This pistol is more accurate than i am and a true tac driver. One of the best quality handguns i own and I highly recommend it. I also recommend changing out the stock recoil spring with a Wolff 22 lbs. spring.

Well let me start out to say that this Kimber Pro Carry Sp Edition Lg is one of the best that I own.I have a H &k 45 cal , But if you like the feel of a 1911 this is the one to buy.Thank You Buds Gun Shop for a excellent transaction.Marry Xmas & Happy New Year

I read all the comments about a break in period of 250 rounds before I purchased my Kimber. My first time out with the firearm was without any problems or misfires. The Kimber is light weight with very little recoil. This is the real deal with the laser grips zeroed at 50 feet. I appreciate the BUDS price given the features of the firearm. Made in U.S.A. got my attention as well.

THIS IS MY SECOND KIMBER, AND MY TENTH 1911. IT IS PROBABLY THE MOST COMFORTABLE IN MY HAND OF ANY I HAVE EVER OWNED. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

One thing for sure I love my Kimbers and this is no exception. The color isn't as light as the SIS but not as dark as say a Black Raptor, it is very nice and looks great with the Slate grips. With the white dot sights the gun is right on target with my best group about 1 1/2" at 15 yards off hand! Flick on the Crimson Trace Grips and you just can't miss. I have shot about 150 rounds of mixed ammo with no problems with Kimber (the mag that comes with this is a very nice SS KIM PRO), Colt, Wilson and McCormick magazines. It should have come with night sights but I have ordered a set for it plus Kimber Bobed Ambi saftey, Kimber bumbed Grip saftey and Wilson Combat mainspring housing. It will be perfect after these modifications, though there is nothing wrong with the way it shoots now. This is my 16th gun from Bud's and I have to say that they have always done a great job and operated in the upmost professional manner, whether it was my first or sixteenth order.
