This is a great shooting shotgun, too bad I can't say the same for the shooter. After 16 boxes and 2 birds, no cleaning and no failures, I am impressed. My first automatic, and after the easy breakdown it was cleaner than my old 870 after one box. The recoil is proven by the look of my shoulder, old 870, black and blue, SBE, a little tender but no noted bruising. I would not recommend this gun if you plan on shooting 3 1/2's for a long period though. Your average turkey hunt of 1 or 2 shots good to go, but non stop duck or goose no bueno, they do not feel good, and I am 6'1" 270. The rifle is very light and I believe that contributes to the hurt the 3 1/2's will put on you.
