This is one of the nicest guns out there, and I've already polished the finish to a mirror. The stainless is literally ready to buff, the painted wood is perfect, and I haven't fired yet. Great gun.Its an unusual fitting gun however, as the stock geometry may be more comfortable for shooters with large hands. Even though the barrels are the same length as the side by side, its a longer gun overall

Just received this gun, honestly very surprised with the quality I cannot find a single thing wrong. for an inexpensive 12 gauge I am impressed. Buds did excellent as always

Thanks to Bud’s for keeping this little gem in stock. I have been purchasing the Stoeger Coach guns for Cowboy Action. With some polishing and spring kits they can be very quick for a great price. Having several of the couch guns, I was searching for the Double Defense to add something different to the mix, then I came across this Outback. It was way better fit and finish then I was expecting. It’s the same basic design as the double defense with all the styling of the supreme model coach guns. With the spring kit and some extra polishing this thing turned out really good looking and quick shooting! Tons of fun shooting these Stoeger’s for not much money. Thanks again Bud’s for offering this different model that most don’t carry. And as always, Bud’s shipped promptly and the package was in great condition. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Absolutely love everything about this shotgun EXCEPT for the safety. Lots of times after the first round is fired the safety will click back to safe on its own. You have no way of knowing that between shots, so you go to shoot the second shot and nothing happens. So that kinda sucks, but like I said, aside from that, this thing is the coolest shotgun I've ever shouldered. I'm going to look into getting the safety repaired and I'm guessing it can be done, but it'll be an extra cost on my end.

Solid quality O/U shotgun. Fit is tight and trigger pull light and crisp with no creep. Finish is a little rough where you can see brush strokes on wood stock, but nothing major. Finish is more of a 'brushed' nickel and is more than adequate with regards to thickness/electroplating. Over-all a quality tactical length shotgun that is well balanced and points easy. I would recommend the Stoeger O/U to anyone looking for something different than the stanrd side by side coach gun. Buds as always was fast on delivery and no damage was incurred during transit.

Seems to be a good gun for the money. I have only put 20 rounds or so through it. I noticed 2 things. The actuator to open the gun does not return to center. However with use it seems to be a little better. The other is the front stock release wheel needs a stronger spring. Not sure if it is the way I hold it or not but I have had it loosen up on me a few times.
